1845 November 10th. Charles Mark Pane, a Carpenter, married Charlotte Taylor at Kirton in Lindsey. Fathers were William Pane, a Sawyer, and Joseph Taylor, a Cooper.[2]

Payne (age 19 born Thrapston), Engineers Assistant; Walter Payne (age 17 born Thrapston), Engineers Assistant; and Bertha Payne (age 15 born Thrapston).[11]
1883 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Mark Payne, of Kettering, in the county of Northampton, Engineer, and Vincent Holliday, of the game place, Engineer, carrying on business as Engineers, Ironfounders, and Boiler Makers, at Kettering, in the county of Northampton under the style or firm of Payne and Holliday, 'has been dissolved, by mutual consent,... and that in future such business will be carried on by the said Mark Payne...'[12]
