1910 Märkische Maschinenbau-Anstalt L. Stuckenholz AG ( Wetter an der Ruhr ) merged with Duisburger Maschinenbau AG (Duisburg) and Benrather Maschinenfabrik GmbH to form Demag.

1885 Illustrations and description of large horizontal compound condensing blowing engine built by the Märkische Maschinenbau Anstalt, of Wetter-on-the-Ruhr, and erected at the iron works of the Rimainurany-Salgo-Torjaner Co. at Liker, near Nyustia, Hungary [1] [2]

1890 Illustrations and description of reversing engine, built by the Märkische Maschineubau Anstalt for the large armour-plate rolling mills at the Essen works of Fried. Krupp. Cylinders 1.3m dia., 1.25m. stroke. Max speed 120 rpm.[3]
