1878 The 22.75 mile completed. 'This short railway forms a branch of the Rajputana Railway from Achnera, a station 16 miles from Agra and connects Mathura with the Rajputana system of lines. It will eventually, when a bridge has been built over the Yamuna at Mathura, form a continuation on the Mathura-Hathras Provincial Railway'
