Responsible for houses in Southernhay, Barnfield Crescent, Colleton Crescent and Dix's Field. Also the New London Inn

Born at Widecombe-in-the-Moor the son of Ambrose Nosworthy and his wife Mary Mortimore

1776 Married at Exeter to Martha Skinner and they had eight children

1777 Birth of son Thomas Nosworthy (d.1851) who became a builder and was in partnership with his father

1818 His eldest daughter Elizabeth was married St St. Sidwell's, Exeter to J. Wadsworth, the second master at the Free Grammar School.[1]

1828 His son Matthew Nosworthy was married at Ringmore to Matilda the daughter of J. Boyd of Shaldon.[2]

1831 March 22nd. Died at his home in Dix's Field, Exeter
