1916 'Yesterday, at Exeter, Maud Morrison, of Taddyforde was summoned for keeping four dogs, two male servants, and a motor car without licenses between January 1st and March 16th. It transpired that Miss Morrison had left the taking out licenses to her solicitors, and that she was not to blame. Licenses had now taken out. '[1]
