Maurice Nathan was born in 1882 and received his technical education at the Superior Polytechnical College of Naples, where he obtained the Degree of Ingenere Industriale.

He spent two years in the shops of the Daimler and subsequently served on the London Sales Staff of that Company.

In 1910 he returned to Italy on the staff of Garages Storero, the Rome Agents of the Daimler Co., and subsequently became a Director of Fiat (England), Ltd., and Vice-Sales Director of Societe Anonima Fiat, Turin.

He was associated with this Company up to the time of his death, which took place on 29th October, 1932, as the result of an aeroplane accident.

He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1910.
