McCarter and Cooper

Messrs Robert D. McCarter and William L. Cooper of 165 Broadway, New York.

1919 Formed a partnership that was to become McCarter and Cooper.

Mr McCarter previous to 1902 was chief engineer to the General Electric Co and from that date until 1914 carried on a consulting practice in London. Mr McCarter was a consulting engineer to all the European Westinghouse Companies and president and managing director of The Russian Westinghouse Company. Mr W. L. Cooper was for fifteen years resident in London as European manager and chief engineer of Messrs R. W. Hunt and Co, inspecting engineers. Anthony Brown and Hooghwinkel of 24 Martin-lane, Cannon-street, E. C. 4 concluded a working arrangement with Messrs McCarter and Cooper.[1]
