McIntosh and Betts

Presumably a partnership of David McIntosh and William Betts

c.1833 Betts was for many years associated with the "eminent" contractor, Mr. M'Intosh. In this year they completed the erection of the Black Rock Lighthouse, near Beaumaris, North Wales, the first contract on which Betts' son Edward was engaged.

1839 Constructed the viaduct over the River Avon at Rugby.
