1929 'BURST FLYWHEEL. WORKMAN'S SKULL FRACTURED AT TIN PLATE FACTORY. An employee's skull was fractured by flying metal when a large flywheel burst at Melingriffith Tinplate Works. Cardiff, to-day. Two other men sustained injuries necessitating their removal to hospital, while several others were less dangerously hurt.' [2]
