Ed. B.A. Dublin, B.A.I. Dublin; Fellow of the Royal Colonial Institute. Apprentice London and North Western Railway (1895 ), afterwards on the permanent staff of that railway. Appointed Assistant Engineer Ceylon Government Railway Extensions (1900 ), appointed Chief Construction Engineer Ceylon Government Railways (1906 ).
