1911 Living at 67 Haughton Road, Woodseats, Sheffield: Michael J. Gleeson (age 35 born Coonmore, Galway), Bricklayer and Builder. With his wife Gertrude Mary and one daughter.[1]

1939 Michael J. Gleeson, permanent director and chairman of a new company Forum Cinema (Sheffield).[2]

1944 Michael J. Gleeson, 29 Meadow head, Sheffield. Director of Ecclesfield Picture House.[3]

1952 September 17th. Died. 'The death occurred last week of Michael Joseph Gleeson, aged 76. a director of several Sheffield kinemas. His firm built, among others, the Capitol and Forum, now controlled by the Essoldo Circuit.'[4] Of Snaithing Grange, Snaithing Lane, Sheffield.[5]
