1901 Middlesbrough Corporation accepted tenders for extension of the electricity works[1]

1905 'Last month there were connected with the Middlesbrough Corporation electric power generating station 78,610 lamps, and 82,074 units were generated to feed theme, against 45,773 lamps connected in April of year.'[2]
