1823 Bankruptcy. '...Commission of Bankrupt awarded and issued forth against Joseph Warr, William Davies and Thomas Matthews, now or late of the Parish of Tipton, in the County of Stafford, Iron Masters, Dealers, Chapmen and Copartners, are requested to meet the Assignees of the said Bankrupts' estate and effects, on Saturday the 27th day of September instant, at Ten o'clock in the Forenoon, at the George Hotel, in Wallsall, in the said County of Stafford,.....called Mill Brook Colliery...'[1]
