1901 The firm of Millar and Allan, agents for Messrs. Riley Hargreaves and Co, engineers and contractors in Singapore, was dissolved by the retiral of Robert Allan. The remaining partner, Jackson Millar, carried on the business under the same name.

1903 Millar and Allan Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £5,000, to acquire as a going concern the business of shipping and commission agents of the same name.[1]

1939 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
