Sir Milton Sheridan Sharp (1856-1924), 1st Baronet, was an English dyer of James and M. S. Sharp and Co

Born to a wealthy family in Wyke, Yorkshire.

Educated at Shrewsbury School and Trinity Hall, Cambridge.

Chairman of the Bradford Dyers' Association from its incorporation in December 1898 until his death. He was created a baronet in the 1920 Birthday Honours.

1924 Died. 'Sir Milton Sheridan Sharp, Bart., of Spring House, Norristhorp, near Heckmondwike, has just died. He was the principal of Messrs M. S. Sharp & Co., dyers and finishers, became a member of the Executive Committee of the Bradford Dyers Association, in which his firm was incorporated. He was appointed chairman of the Association 1908. During the war he assisted greatly the manufacture of high explosives.'[1]
