1906 Monton Mill built.

1908 Joseph Wadsworth appointed engineer.[1]

1929 Acquired by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation.[2]

1964 Part of Courtaulds.

1967 After cotton production finished, the mill was sold to Ward and Goldstone.[3]

The mill has since been demolished and replaced by housing, with the name of the mill preserved in the street name.
