1950 MORRIS OXFORD

The Morris Oxford of today is a most striking modernisation of the pre-war car with the household name. Everything about it is in the latest style, from the air-flow lines of the body to the gear-change controls on the steering column, seen in the photograph reproduced below. The Oxford also embodies the new Morris system of independent front wheel suspension.

Fabrication of the all-steel body and chassis as a single unit is achieved by the Morris mono-construction system. This gives greater interior space and permits an occasional third passenger on both front and rear seats.

The standard colour schemes are Romain green with green trimming, platinum grey with brown, maroon with maroon and black with brown.
