1910 Exhibited a time circuit breaker for protection of motors at the Physical Society's Exhibition[1]

1915 The M. L. Magneto Syndicate‎ was formed.

WWI Morris and Lister, eventually under Admiralty control, endeavoured to develop magnetos and to rationalize and expand production. The Admiralty was concerned for supplies of magnetos for aero-engines for the Royal Naval Air Service.

At some point Frederick John Bakewell was MD of Morris and Lister (London) Ltd

1919 Acquired by Smiths

1922 Manufacturing electricians, Victoria Works, West Orchard, Coventry. Directors: D. K. Morris, G. A. Lister, R. K. Morcom and R. W. Smith.

1930 Acquired by Lucas[2]
