1907 Murray, McVinnie and Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £19,892, to acquire and carry on the business of ship chandlers at Mavisbank Quay, Glasgow.[1]
1932 With the original company now in voluntary liquidation, a successor, Murray, McVinnie (1932) Limited, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £5,000, to carry on the business of ship chandlers and ship and engine room furnishers.[2]
1982 The company was struck off and dissolved.[3]
