Nab Tower Lighthouse
1918 The Nab Tower was built in 1918 as part of a series of unfinished First World War defences (see Shoreham Mystery Towers)
1920 It was used from 1920 to replace the Nab Lightvessel.
Staffed from 1920 to 1983 as an offshore lighthouse, by three lighthouse keepers who were relieved monthly.
1983 the station was automated
1995 converted to solar-powered operation.
