1778 Partnership change. '... the Partnership between Georgius Smith, Samuel Smith, Thomas Smith, Samuel Shackerley, and Nathaniel Gower, all, of Sheffield in the County of York, Bridle-bit, and Stirrup-makers and Silver-platers, (so far as concerns the Right, of the said Samuel Shackerley and Nathaniel Gower) was dissolved by mutual Consent on the 7th Day of July last; and the said Samuel Shackerley and Nathaniel Gower have no further Concern Whatsoever in the said Partnership and that the said Business is now carried on by the said Georgius Smith, Samuel Smith, and Thomas Smith...'[1]
