1918 The National Patent Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £6,000, to take over the business of the National Patent Co, and to carry on business as manufacturing and wholesale and retail ironmongers, sawmillers, etc.[1]

1956 The company was wound up by court order.[2]
