1951 Neilson and Barclay Limited, of Laighcartside Street, Johnstone, Renfrewshire, was incorporated as a private limited company, with capital of £10,000, to carry on business as manufacturers of weather bars and draught bars for doorways and windows, metal workers, etc.[1]

1966 Patent - Pivot device. [2]

1978 Patent - Weather Bars or Draught Excluders for Doors. [3]

1991 The company, whose name had changed to Barclay Property Investments Limited went into liquidation.[4]
