1869 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore carried on by us the undersigned, George Newton, Joseph Braddock the younger, and Joseph Braddock the elder, as Gas Meter Manufacturers, at Oldham, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of Newton and Braddock, has this day been dissolved, so far as the said George Newton is concerned, by mutual consent. All debts owing by or to the said firm will be paid and received by the said Joseph Braddock the elder and Joseph Braddock the younger, by whom the business will in future be carried on...'[1]
