Subsequently criticised for building a large organisation ahead of sales and undertaking too much development.

Main suppliers were Logica VTS and Muirhead Office Systems - subsequently the NEB was criticised for not including penalty clauses in case of delay in the contracts

1981 After failure of the 2200 word processor, the decision was taken to run down the company

1982 The word processor was sold to ICL

1986 DTI and NEB criticised in report looking into the collapse of the company
