Noel Ashbridge

Sir Noel Ashbridge became the Controller of Engineering at the BBC after Captain Peter Eckersley.
- 1907-11 King's College, London.
- Training: Yarrow and Co., Ltd., and B.T.H. Co., Ltd.
- Served European War Royal Fusiliers and Royal Engineers.
- 6 years Marconi's, at Writtle Experimental Station.
- 1926 Joined BBC as Assistant Chief Engineer.
- 1929 Chief Engineer at BBC
- 1934 His title is Danish-Knight of the Royal Order of Dannesbrog.
He learned all about valve receivers and circuits at the Marconi Experimental Station.[1]
In 1941 he was the President of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. [2]

- Radio Research Board
- Television Committee
- Fellow of King's College
Served on Advisory Committees in Belgium and Denmark in connection with the development of Broadcasting.
