Nordic Museum (Stockholm)
The Nordiska Museet is located on the island of Djurgården, in central Stockholm.
It is dedicated to the cultural history and ethnography of Sweden. The museum was founded in the late 19th century by Artur Hazelius, who also founded the nearby Skansen Open-air Museum.
The impressive cathedral-like building focuses mainly on the furnishings, clothes and toys of Sweden through the ages.
