Norman MacDermid Wishart (1899-1935)

Norman Maedermid Wishart was born in 1899, and received his technical education at the Heriot Watt Technical College, Edinburgh.

He served his apprenticeship with Arrol-Johnston, Ltd., and at its conclusion he was appointed Draughtsman at Humber, Ltd.

His next position was as Section-Leader with Armstrong-Siddeley Motors, Ltd., following which he became Chief Draughtsman and subsequently Technical Engineer with Humber, Ltd.

He died on 23rd January, 1935, at the age of 36.

He was elected a Graduate of the Institution in 1922, and was transferred to Associate Member in 5929, and to Member in 1933.
