1889 Reported to be turning out about 132,000 tons of steel per annum. [1]
c.1895 Thought to be the only large scale use of a central condensing and pumping station in a steel works in Britain; the system was put up by Mr. Cooper[2]
1896 On 1 January, acquired the business of the Acklam Iron Co. [3]
1903 Became part of Dorman, Long and Co.
1919?-16 Five locomotives (all 0-4-0ST) built. [4]
1923 Dorman Long's subsidiary companies were liquidated and the assets transferred to the parent[5]
