1892 The title of the Regent's Canal, City and Docks Railway Co was altered to the North Metropolitan Railway and Canal Company.[1]

1905 Middlesex County Council placed an obligation on the Company of Proprietors of the Grand Junction Canal, the Company of Proprietors of the Regent's Canal and the North Metropolitan Railway and Canal Company to make provision for controlling and regulating the flow of water from the Brent Reservoir at Hendon[2]
