1897 'A meeting of the shareholders of this undertaking (North Wilts Dairy Co) has been held, and resolution agreed to for the amalgamation of other dairies the neighbourhood into one concern. The following concerns will thus be merged into the North Wilts Dairy Company:— The Agricultural School Dairy, Devizes Dairy Supply Company, the Little Cheverell Dairy Company, and the Melksham and Frome Dairy Company. The directors will Mr. C. and Mr. R. Butler (managing directors), Mr. G. H. Mead, Mr. D. W. Butler, and Mr. C. R. Morrison.'[1]
