Nowra Bridge (NSW)
A wrought iron road bridge across the Shoalhaven River (about 170km south of Sydney).
The bridge, with Whipple Truss girders, was constructed by the Edge Moor Iron Company of Delaware, USA, and opened in 1881.
The cast iron cylinders for the piers were cast by the Atlas Engineering Co of Darling Harbour, Sydney.
