1837 Partnership change. '... the. Partnership, or several partnerships, hitherto subsisting between Peter Willans, William Willans, Thomas Willans, Obadiah Willans, junr. and John Willans, or any of them, as Merchants and Manufacturers, and carried on at Holbeck, near Leeds, and at Leeds, in the county of York, and at Hibernia Mills, Kilmainham, near Dublin, and in the city of Dublin, under the firm of O. Willans and Sons, hath and have been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts owing to and by the said firm at Leeds will be received and paid by Peter Willans, Obadiah Willans, junr. and John Willans, who will in future carry on the business at that place, under the firm of Peter Willans and Sons ; and nil debts owing to and by the said firm at Dublin will he received and paid by the said William Willans and Thomas Willans, who will in future carry on the business at that place, under the firm of William and Thomas Willans...'[1]
