1880 Partnership change. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Ormerod, William Edward Ormerod, and George James Booth, as Curriers, Leather and Oil Merchants, and Strapping Manufacturers, carried on at Rochdale, under the style of O. and W. Ormerod, was dissolved, on the 31st day of December last, so far as regards the said William Ormerod, who has retired therefrom...'[2]
1894 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, George James Booth and George Southcomb, carrying on business as Curriers, Leather Merchants, and Strapping Manufacturers, at the Railway Leather Works, Rochdale, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of O. and W. Ormerod, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All moneys due to or from the firm will be received and paid by the said George James Booth, who will continue to carry on the business under the style of O. and W. Ormerod...'[3]
