1805 Sale Notice: 'Notice is herby given that the partnership lately carried on by John Spencer, of Collyhurst, within Manchester, in the county of Lancaster, and William Wardle, of Chetham, in the said county, iron and Brass Founders, under the firm of the Old Foundry Company, was dissolved on the thirty first day of December last past, by mutual consent: and all debts due to or owing by the said parties on the said late partnership account are to be received and paid by them the Old Foundry, at Scotland Bridge, in Manchester.... The business will in future be carried on usual by the said John Spencer alone.'[1]
