1928 British Industries Fair: Oldfield & Schofield power press, designed by A. H. F. Perl, is shown on the stand of Oldfield and Schofield. Capable of exerting a pressure of 8 tons at a speed of 120 r.p.m.[1]

1957 Taken over by Kerry Machine Tool Group[2]

1962 Kerry's merged the business with that of Henry Broadbent[3] as Broadbent-Schofield[4]

1963 Downturn in demand for heavy machine tools led to the company making a loss.
