1842 'NOTICE is hereby given, that the engraving machine, clamming machine, milling tools, dies, and blanks, turning lathe with wood bearers, tools, &c. polishing lathe with iron bearers, fly wheel with pully, iron frame, straps, &c., 2 pair large vices with bench, grinding stone and frame, engraving tools, punches, &c., mill blocks, oil stones, four lamps, stove pot and pipes, iron boxes for softening and hardening mills, &c., wood polishing box, two iron boxes for mandril, water of Ayr stone, stools, benches, implements, and affects, in and upon the premises, No. 7, Rogers-row, within Manchester, in the county of Lancaster, in the occupation of Messieurs Oliver and Simpson, engravers to calico printers, are the property of me the undersigned William Deakin, and are let with the said premises to the said Messieurs Oliver and Simpson, who have no further or other interest therein than as tenants of the said premises.— Dated this nineteeth day of April, 1842, WILLIAM DEAKIN.'[1]
