Glass Stainers and Decorators

1886 Established in Glasgow by Oscar Paterson, the business specialised in domestic and ecclesiastical stained glass, decorative and memorial windows. Stained glass was also produced for ocean liners, including the Lusitania.

1910/11 Oscar Paterson Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to take over the business carried on by Oscar Paterson, glass stainer, at 10 Blythswood Square, Glasgow.[1]

1929 The company went into voluntary liquidation, though it is clear that the business had been in difficulties for several years prior to this.[2]
