1928 Obituary.[1]

The death at the early age of forty-nine, is announced of Mr. Osman Shaw, chairman of the firm of Francis Shaw and Co., Ltd., Manchester. Mr. Shaw served his apprenticeship at his father's works, which was founded in 1879. The business was incorporated into a limited liability company in 1909, and Mr. Osman Shaw had been chairman of the company since its formation. He was a founder member of the Engineers Club, Manchester, of which institution he was a most generous supporter.
