OTTO WILHELM BROMS died on April 12, 1915; he was born in 1853, and was educated at the Technological University of Stockholm. In 1877 he became engineer at the Billingsfors Ironworks, a position he retained until 1880, when he was appointed manager of the Granviks Ironworks. During 1883-1892 he resided in London and Paris for studies and business. He was then employed by the Aktiebolag Gellivare Malmfalt, in 1896 by the Luossavaara-Kirunavaara Aktiebolag, and in 1903 by the Trafikaktiebolag Gritingesberg-Oxelosund.

He was also a director of the Norrbottens Malmforadlings Aktiebolag, and the Rederiaktiebolag Lulea-Ofoten. He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1899.
