1938 P. C. Flett Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £7,000, to acquire and take over as a going concern the business of grocery and provision merchants, ironmongers and seedsmen, hitherto carried on by Peter Copland Flett under the firm name of P. C. Flett and Co.[1]

1954 The shop and store in Albert Street were destroyed by fire.[2]

1984 By now the company was in receivership.[3]
