1959 Acquired by Harry Vincent Ltd[2]

1967 Parkes (Classic Confectionery) to be independent and bought back from from Harry Vincent, the “Bluebird” toffee group. The M.D. will be Leslie J. Oakes.[3]

1967 Leslie J. Oakes, managing director of Parkes Classic Confectionery Ltd., of Langley Green, Warley.[4]

1969 The M.D. is G. Payne.[5]

1973 Acquired by Tavener, Rutledge and Co
