1909 For Sale. 'WEAVING FACTORY, PORTADOWN. There are 185 Looms in the Factory (89 Plain, 91 Jacquard, and 5 Dobbie), with all the necessary Winding, Preparing, and other Machinery. The Engines, Boilers, and Economiser Plant are almost new, having been installed m the year 1904. The Works are lighted Electric Light, generated on the Premises. There is also a complete Heating Installation. The larger portion of the Buildings have been erected quite recently. The Premises are well arranged, and are quite up to date. The whole Property is held for ever at the small Yearly Rent of £20. The Purchaser wall be bound to take the Work in process and Stock of Yarns and Stores...'[1]

1939 Factory being dismantled, having been idle for some years.[2]

1940 Extensively damaged by fire. The premises are owned by Acheson of Castleisland Factory, Portadown.[3]
