1965 Oxley Industries acquired a 30 percent stake in the company

In 1966 the Oxley's board intended moving machinery of Mansells and Passmill to a new factory in Bolton[2]

1973 Passmill (Paper Products) Ltd was renamed Sterling Mansell Ltd

1982 A subsidiary of Sterling International Ltd of USA

1983 Name changed to Fort Sterling Ltd
