1890 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Henry Weatherby, James Hammersley, William Smith Lea, John Hammersley, and Henry Hammersley, carrying on business as Cement Manufacturers, at Hanley, in the county of Stafford, under the style or firm of the Patent Fire Resisting Cement Company, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as and from the 26th day of November, 1889. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said William Smith Lea, John Hammersley and Henry Hammersley, by whom the said business will be carried on in future under the said style or firm of the Patent Fire Resisting Cement Company...'[1]
