At the AUCTION MART, near the Bank of England, On FRIDAY, December 8, at Twelve, By Order of the Mortgagee— In One Lot.
A Highly important and valuable PATENT, dated the 13th. of May, 1817, for a Term of 14 Years, being for certain improvements in the method or methods of making SCREWS of Iron, Brass, Steel, or other Metals, for the all kinds of wood work. At the present time l4 machines are at works, 18 ready for being worked, 123 in a forward state. Also the Lease of the Premises, peculiarly adapted for the carrying on the business, consisting of a convenient dwelling-house, containing six rooms and a wash-house, an extensive range of buildings, fitted up with every convenience for working the Patent to advantage, and a spacious wharf on the opposite side of the road. The premises are held on Lease for the residue of a term of 21 years, from Lady Day 1820, at the very low annual rent of £45.
Samples of the Screws may seen, and the Premises viewed, 14 days previous to the Sale, by Cards, which, with Particulars, may be had of Messrs. Egan and Waterman, solicitors, Strand; and Stevens and Brenchley, 36, Old Jewry.'
