1888 Died. 'Patrick Bell, superintendent engineer to the Dundee Seal and Whale Company, who died at his residence in Newport yesterday afternoon after short illness. Mr Bell caught a severe chill when out fishing a week ago, which brought congestion the lungs, which terminated fatally. Mr Bell, who was about forty years of age and unmarried, was of a kindly and genial disposition, and was highly esteemed by all who knew him.'.[1]
