Patrick Langdon Yorke (1916-1945)

Patrick Langdon Yorke was born in 1916 and educated at Marlborough and Clare College, Cambridge. He obtained a Mechanical Science Tripos at Cambridge, afterwards joining Rolls-Royce, Ltd., for practical training in automobile engineering.

He enlisted in the Army in September, 1939, and served in France and the Middle East.

He died of wounds in Western Europe early in 1945.

He was elected a Graduate in 1937.
