Pecket Well Shed, Hebden Bridge

in Pecket Well, Wadsworth, near Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire
Built in 1858 by the Pecket Well Weaving Shed Co Ltd.The tenant was John Wilcock and Sons, who bought the mill in 1862. Fire in 1873 led to some rebuilding, including the addition of a 4-storey warehouse.[1]
The warehouse building, chimney, pond, and parts of the weaving sheds survive. An unusual feature is the way the 4-storey building embraces the chimney. Presumably this is the original 1858 chimney (see photo).
Now a housing development called Pecket Well Mill.[2]
