Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William James Pennington and William Middleton, carrying on business as Ironmongers, with establishments at Kendal, in the county of Westmorland, and at Windermere, in the same county, under the style or firm of Pennington and Middleton, has been dissolved, as from the 31st day of December, 1880, by mutual consent. All debts due and owing to or by the said partnership in respect of the Windermere branch will be received and paid by the said William James Pennington, by whom the said Windermere business will be continued; and all debts due and owing to or by the said partnership in respect of the Kendal branch will be received and paid by the said William Middleton, by whom the said Kendal business will be continued...'[1]
